FAKUMA 2024 Dissemination Seminar was successfully held on17 January (Friday) by FHKI Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould and Die Council). This seminar is one of the deliverables of the Trade and Industry Department's Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund project. It aims to showcase the comprehensive technology and production capabilities of Hong Kong's precision mould and plastic parts manufacturing industry, and to promote the strengths of this industry to the world.
The dissemination Seminar featured Mr Cedric Law, Operations Manager of Silcotech Hong Kong Limited, a representative of the company that participated in FAKUMA 2024 in Germany. He personally shared his experiences and results from participating in the exhibition. Mr Law emphasized that participating in overseas exhibitions through the "Hong Kong Pavilion" not only enhances brand awareness but also promotes synergy and collaboration among other Hong Kong companies. He pointed out that this collaborative relationship has a significant positive impact on business development, enabling them to jointly explore broader markets.
Ms Angie Cheng, Associate Principal Consultant of Smart Manufacturing Division of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, also provided an overall summary at the sharing session. She gave a detailed introduction to the achievements of the exhibition and explained the preparations for the upcoming CHINAPLAS exhibition to be held in Shenzhen in April 2025.
