Hong Kong Mould and Die Council (“HKMDC”), established in 1989 as Group 14 under the auspices of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, has been dedicated serving the industry for 35 years. It facilitates interactions among industry players, and bridges up the industry and the Government. Nowadays, HKMDC has become one of the most prominent industry associations in Hong Kong.
Objectives of HKMDC:
- To promote the interests of the Hong Kong mould and die industry
- To enhance the industry’s competitiveness by upgrading its technology
- To organise activities of interest and importance to the industry
- To disseminate relevant information to fellow members
- To represent the best interests of the mould and die industry and to advise the Government on matters related to the industry
HKMDC has over 150 company members led by Mr Felix Choi, the Chairman and Mr Patrick To, the Vice Chairman, for 2023- 25. An executive committee (“ExCom”) with 36 executive members is setup to lead various events and activities. The ExCom consists of 5 sub-committees according to the nature, namely, Membership Relations Committee, Technology & Education Committee, Overseas Affairs Committee, Hong Kong & Mainland Affairs Committee, and Public Communication & Exhibition Committee.
