The "Greater Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing Sharing Session", co-organized by the Hong Kong Mould & Die Council and the Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council, was held on 16:00 of 4 December 2021 at the conference hall of Dongguan Chang'an Parklane Hotel . More than 200 people attended this seminar, including the guests from China Die & Mould Industry Association, executive committee members of the organisers, and the professional engineers from the member companies.

Mr. Cai Dong-hai from GF Company, Mr. Liu Ben-hui from ZWSoft, and Dr. Yi Ping from Eman Digital were invited as the guest speakers of this seminar. With the theme of "How to use Intelligent Technologies to upgrade the industry", they introduced various application solutions of advanced additive processing, how domestic CAD CAM software can help the manufacturing industry to solve their technical bottlenecks and reduce the ever-rising costs, and the latest developments of domestic MES software. The speakers are well prepared and the content is very substantial.

The program was followed by the Q&A session hosted by moderator Ir. John Chow, Vice-convenor of Technology & Education Committee, the audiences raised up numerous encouraging questions which leads to an in-depth discussion. The in-depth topics from application of of additive techniques, equipment deployment for industry, development strategies of domestic software , and the further development for upgrading and technical transformation, are the core discussion topics in the session. In the end, the 90-minute sharing session completed in a round of applause.
