Hong Kong Mould & Die Council and the Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council co-organised the first joint dinner at the Great Bay Area this year. The joint dinner was successfully held on 4 December 2021 at the Dongguan Chang'an Parklane Hotel, with the theme Go Beyond the Norm, Be Innovative and Upgraded’.

It is honoured that Ms Qin Ke, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General for China Die & Mould Industry Association and Ms SO Tsz-yin, Deputy Director for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) officiated the dinner as guest-of-honour. Ms Qin Ke share about the development of China's mold industry and plastics industry in the future. Ms SO addressed about the "Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan" and "Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" to our members.

There were nearly 400 guests joined the dinner, they include representatives of Hong Kong and Chinese organisations. At last, the dinner was perfectly ended with a round of cheers and applause.
