PAST EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
FHKI Group 14 (HKMDC) and Group 15 (HKPIC) Joint Dinner 2025

On 21 November 2025, the Group 14 Hong Kong Mould and Die Council (HKMDC) and Group 15 Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council (HKPIC) held a successful joint dinner, gathering nearly 360 participants from the mould and plastics industries. This event promoted valuable exchanges within the sector.

 

We were honoured to welcome The Hon Andrew Leung GBM, GBS, JP, Honorary President of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), as our Guest of Honor. The evening featured insightful welcome speeches from Mr Patrick Ho, Chairman of the HKMDC, and Mr Eric Sun, Chairman of the HKPIC. They highlighted how this gathering would enhance connections within the industry and facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration as we collectively address future challenges and opportunities. Mr Ricky Chan, Executive Deputy Chairman of FHKI, delivered a congratulatory speech, with the attendance of various FHKI leaders, including Executive Deputy Chairmen Mr Jude Chow and Mr Wallace Wong, Deputy Chairmen Ms Jackie Ng and Director-General Ms Bonnie Chan. Their presence fostered further exchange among participants.

 

The dinner also included an Acknowledgements segment to express our heartfelt gratitude to former chairmen. Special recognition was given to Mr Felix Choi, Honorary President of the HKMDC, and Mr Bernie Ting, Honorary President of the HKPIC, for their exemplary leadership in expanding the councils’ business initiatives, fostering industry development, and facilitating cooperation among members.

 

Looking ahead, the Hong Kong Mould and Die Council and the Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council remain committed to connecting the industry with both mainland opportunities and international markets. In response to current market demands and trends, the associations will promote further cross-sector cooperation to facilitate technological exchanges and innovative development, ensuring the continued prosperity of the Hong Kong mould and plastics industries.

 

As we celebrate the 65th anniversary of the FHKI, we will persist in our mission as a "Super Connector," enhancing internal industry relationships and promoting the sharing and exchange of professional knowledge, ultimately expanding the horizons of our industry.
