The CHINAPLAS 2025 "Hong Kong Pavilion," organised by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries ("FHKI") and FHKI Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould and Die Council) ("HKMDC"), with funding support from the Trade and Industry Department, officially opened on 15 April 2025 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Centre. This year holds special significance as it marks the 65th anniversary of FHKI, whilst the HKMDC has hosted the Hong Kong Pavilion at CHINAPLAS for the 11th consecutive year, showcasing the innovation and heritage of Hong Kong’s industrial sector.

The Hong Kong Pavilion funded session featured a 140-square-metre public exhibition area and a live production line, centred around the theme "Empowering the Industry with Innovation Transformation". It brought together 10 member companies from the mould and die sector, forming a 500-square-metre collective exhibition space to present Hong Kong’s advanced mould and plastic technologies to global buyers.

The four-day exhibition (15th–18th April) also featured an automatic plastic injection moulding line at the Hong Kong Pavilion, attracting numerous visitors who stopped to observe the demonstrations and collect collapsible silicone cups from the Hong Kong Mould & Die Council.
