The Mission to Taiwan organised by FHKI Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould & Die Council) ("HKMDC") lasted four days and three nights from 24 to 27 September 2024 has successfully concluded. The Mission marks the first time in 30 years that HKMDC has organised a delegation to visit Taiwanese mould enterprises, embodying the HKMDC's core values of "Cohesion, Mutual Growth, Collaboration, and Win-Win."
The Mission included visits to six companies located in Taipei and Taichung, as well as participation in the TaipeiPLAS exhibition. 20 members engaged in in-depth exchanges with the local mould association to discuss the current state and future outlook of the mould industry in both regions, aiming to position Hong Kong’s industry as a "super connector" for external engagement and internal collaboration.
This year marks the anniversary of the HKMDC's establishment, and the HKMDC will continue to provide a platform for members to facilitate ongoing learning, optimisation, and upgrading, working together to "Empowering the Industry with Innovation Transformation."
