FHKI Group 14 (HKMDC) hosted its “2023 Spring Dinner Cum Tool Maker of the Year Award Presentation Ceremony" on 17 March 2023 at Parklane Hotel Changan.  The event was a resounding success, with over 300 guests attending the ceremony. The highlight of the evening was the presence of Prof Cliff Sun, the esteemed Honorary President of the HKMDC, who graced the occasion as the guest of honor. He delivered a captivating speech, congratulating the winners and praising the efforts of the outstanding practitioners in the industry. The ceremony also featured the "Outstanding Practitioner Award Ceremony 2022," which recognized the remarkable achievements of the winners in their respective fields. The "Best Outstanding Practitioner Award" and "Outstanding Practitioner Award" were presented to the deserving winners, amid applause and cheers from the audience.

Before the banquet, the HKMDC organised an industry sharing session that drew the attention of more than 200 participants. The session featured two distinguished speakers – a senior representative of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, who shared insights on the "Development Policies of High-end Manufacturing and Talent in the Greater Bay Area," and a senior representative from Guangdong Gaohang Intellectual Property Operation, who gave a presentation on the "National Intellectual Property Support Policies for Manufacturing Industry."
